The biggest opportunity for change?

It occurred to me recently, when a colleague suggested that #CollaborativeConsumption is the ‘biggest opportunity in #Sustainability right now’… that it is in fact THE BIGGEST opportunity we’ve ever ( /always) had…

It is the collaborative consumption of IDEAS that gifts power, fuels politics, creates and perpetuates economies (/class division /depressions), and gives rise and fall to cultures and civilisations.

Buy the WHY…

We have a chorus telling us, as does Simon Sinek, that “people don’t buy what you do, they buy WHY you do it”.
We have a myriad of studies showing us that gen Y is less interested in buying material things, and that if we want them to buy, we need to sell them on an idea.

We are witnessing increasing trends in #ConsiousConsumerism.

The Potential.

So what is the potential, when we have the right tools and the collective will, to use the conscious COLLABORATIVE CONSUMPTION OF IDEAS to re-form ourselves, and our world. This is the stuff that systems, eco-systems, and dreams are made of.

What does it take to provide the #tippingpoint, to a world that decides to collectively buy into the idea of Thrivability?
